Epson B300 B310 B500 B510 Factory Epson Cartridge Refilling Tip

If you plan to refill Epson Factory Cartridges (which we do not recommend) then you might as well have a proper tip to refill the cartridges with and withdraw the air from the cartridges after doing so.

Why InkJetCarts does not recommend refilling the factory cartridges;

Using a standard needle and syringe is dangerous as the interior bag can be damaged and the resulting leak can be unseen by you for some time
Valve is not manufactured for repeated refillings
Exactly 80ml-90ml needs to be inserted
Air in the interior cartridge bag needs to be withdrawn after refilling.
refilling of the factory epson cartridge needs to be done prior to exhausting the inks contained in the opaque factory cartridge (you will be unable to know exactly how much inks are in the cartridge except by empty tare weights versus refilled or factory new cartridge weights). Starvation of ink to the head for any reason will result in excessive printing difficulty and/or printhead damage.
We highly recommend see-through 300ml refillable cartridges (over 3 times the inks contained in the factory cartridges and easy to see the inks in the cartridges at a glance) for the Epson Office B300 B310 B500 B510

This Kit includes one refilling tip to properly push in the valve.

step 1) Insert an empty syringe with tip and remove any remaining inks. Hold cartridge with valve pointing down to floor and insert the syringe/tip into the valve and withdraw any remaining inks and air.

step 2) Load large 60ml syringe with 45ml of ink and insert the inks into the cartridge (ink cart valve pointing straight up and syringe pointing straight down)

step 3) Repeat step 2 with another 45ml of ink.

step 4) With a completely empty syringe, insert tip and syringe into valve and valve end of cartridge is straight up and grasping syringe firmly pull back on syringe plunger (creating a vacuum). You are looking to withdraw any air and completely collapse the bag around the inks in the bag inside the cartridge. Withdraw up to 10ml of ink/air mixture or until nothing but ink is being removed from the cartridge you just refilled.

step 5) reset the chip on the cartridge.
